Elementary students from across Eastern Idaho continue to benefit from Science Spectaculars.

“I created the Science Spectacular when I was over at Idaho State,” said Sharlene Jolley, College of Eastern Idaho chemistry instructor. “I have been doing a variation of it for 18 years now.”

CEI hosted the latest iteration of the Science Spectacular last Friday in Idaho Falls. More than 600 fourth- and fifth-graders from local schools and homeschool groups participated in a full day of hands-on, interactive STEM activities.

“This is the third spectacular at CEI, and the eighth year overall for the large groups,” Jolley said.
